I know most people think holidaying at Disney is mainly for families, but believe it or not, there is plenty here to do for adults, especially couples. Every girl wants to be treated like a princess, so it’s not surprising that Disney’s Engagement, Wedding, Honeymoon and Anniversary packages are particularly popular. Whether you’re out with your partner to celebrate a special occasion or not, it’s always nice to add a bit of romance to your holiday (especially if you’re out with kids and have the luxury of a night off!). Here 5 ways to add that extra spark and make your stay that bit more magical and romantic.
Fireworks at Polynesian Village
A Romantic idea to suit any budget, take a monorail trip out to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and cuddle up on the beach to watch the Fireworks at Magic Kingdom. The beach here is a fantastic alternative viewing spot for Wishes, and there is a much more intimate feel here than from any spot within the crowded Theme Park. You may even consider booking at meal at Kona Cafe, or even at the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show first before heading out to the beach to end your evening
Dinner at California Grill
One of Disney’s Signature Restaurants, California Grill boasts panoramic views from its position at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Serving delicious modern American cuisine alongside an impressive wine cellar, California Grill is a very romantic setting for a quiet evening meal. If you can time your reservation right, you may even get an incredible view of Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom! Even if you can’t manage to be at your table for the fireworks, California Grill has a fantastic viewing deck, where you can head out to before and after to take in the view; and Happily Ever After is also visible from here.
